Description

Create a vibrant DIY Firework Suncatcher to capture light and color, adding warmth and joy to your living space.

Ingredients

  • Transparent plastic sheets or cling film
  • Colorful tissue paper
  • Scissors
  • A black marker
  • Optional: cardstock or thick paper
  • Optional: hole punch
  • String or thread

Instructions

  1. Begin by laying your transparent plastic sheets on a flat surface.
  2. Use your black marker to draw firework shapes or any abstract designs on the sheets.
  3. Cut colorful tissue paper into small squares or whimsical shapes.
  4. Layer the cut tissue paper pieces onto the drawn shapes, overlapping slightly.
  5. Once satisfied with your design, place a second transparent sheet on top.
  6. If using card stock, attach your layered design to it for sturdiness.
  7. Use a hole punch at the top center and tie a piece of string or thread for hanging.
  8. Finally, find a sunlit spot to hang your suncatcher and admire it.

Notes

Consider experimenting with different shapes and color combinations.
