Ingredients
- Pipe cleaners (in your choice of colors)
- Boiling water
- Borax (1 cup)
- A glass jar or bowl
- String (optional, for hanging)
- Scissors (for trimming pipe cleaners)
Instructions
- Choose your favorite colors of pipe cleaners and twist them into flower shapes.
- Boil water and measure 1 cup, pouring it into your glass jar or bowl.
- Slowly add Borax, stirring continuously until fully dissolved.
- Tie the flower shape to a pencil or stick and suspend it in the jar above the bottom.
- Dip the flower into the Borax solution, ensuring it is fully submerged.
- Place the jar in a location that won’t be disturbed for 6-24 hours.
- Remove the flower and rinse gently under cold water to remove excess Borax.
- Allow it to dry on a paper towel.
Notes
Experiment with food coloring for colorful crystals and try different shapes for added creativity.
