Description

Transform old CDs into beautiful suncatchers that brighten your space and reflect the joys of crafting.


Ingredients

  • Old CDs or DVDs
  • Colored tissue paper or translucent cellophane
  • Scissors
  • Clear glue or mod podge
  • String or fishing line
  • A hole punch (optional)
  • Paintbrush (for applying glue)

Instructions

  1. Select your CDs and decide if you want to keep them whole or crack them for unique patterns.
  2. Cut your colored tissue paper or cellophane into various shapes.
  3. Apply a layer of glue on the CD surface, using a paintbrush to spread it evenly.
  4. Start layering your paper shapes onto the glued CD.
  5. Finish by adding a final layer of glue to seal everything in place.
  6. Punch a hole at the top and thread some string or fishing line through for hanging.
  7. Allow your suncatchers to dry completely before displaying them.
