Description

Transform recycled bottle caps into a whimsical ocean-inspired decoration with this delightful DIY project.

Ingredients

  • Recycled bottle caps (any colors or designs)
  • Colorful yarn or twine (soft textures)
  • Scissors (sharp)
  • A glue gun and glue sticks
  • Lightweight beads (optional)
  • A strong branch or dowel (for hanging)
  • A small weight (like a stone, optional)

Instructions

  1. Begin by sorting your bottle caps.
  2. Cut lengths of yarn or twine, about 12 inches long.
  3. Take a bottle cap and thread a piece of yarn through its center.
  4. Repeat with additional bottle caps, leaving spaces for tentacles.
  5. Attach lightweight beads to the ends of the yarn if desired.
  6. Find your branch or dowel and lay out your jellyfish.
  7. Once satisfied, gently glue the knots to the branch.
  8. If adding weights, attach them to the last jellyfish tentacle.
  9. Finally, find a lovely spot to hang your wind chime.
