Ingredients
- 1 cup of cornstarch
- 1 cup of water
- 2 tablespoons of vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- Food coloring or natural dyes
- Wax paper or silicone baking mat
- Rolling pin (optional)
- Shape cutters or scissors
Instructions
- Combine the cornstarch and water in a saucepan.
- Stir gently over low heat, watching the mixture transform into a smooth paste.
- Add the vinegar and vegetable oil, continuing to stir.
- Remove from heat once it thickens, and let it cool slightly.
- Divide the cooled bioplastic into portions and add food coloring or natural dye.
- Roll out the colored bioplastic on wax paper.
- Cut out shapes using cutters or scissors.
- Peel the shapes away and let them dry completely.
- Hang your suncatchers in windows to enjoy the sunlight.
