Ingredients

  • Biodegradable plastic sheets
  • Natural plant-based dyes (beet juice, spinach puree, turmeric)
  • Scissors
  • A heat source (hot water bath or sunny spot)
  • A mold (silicone molds)
  • A paintbrush or dropper
  • Twine or wire for hanging

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace by laying down a cloth or newspaper.
  2. Cut your bioplastic into desired shapes like circles or leaves.
  3. Mix your natural dyes in a separate container.
  4. Apply the colors to the bioplastic using the paintbrush or dropper.
  5. Place the dyed bioplastic in your mold.
  6. Apply gentle heat to melt the colors together.
  7. Allow your pieces to cool completely.
  8. Remove them from the molds carefully.
  9. Attach twine or wire for hanging.

Notes
