Description
Create soothing aroma stones with air-dry clay and your favorite essential oils for a calming home fragrance.
Ingredients
- Air-dry clay
- Essential oils (such as lavender, eucalyptus, or citrus)
- Water (to dampen the clay if needed)
- Rolling pin
- Cookie cutters (optional)
- Baking sheet or tray
- Small bowl
Instructions
- Begin by taking a small portion of the air-dry clay and knead it in your hands.
- If the clay feels too dry, add a few drops of water and continue kneading.
- Roll the clay into a smooth ball while breathing in your chosen essential oil.
- On a flat surface, flatten your clay ball with a rolling pin until it reaches about half an inch in thickness.
- Use cookie cutters to shape the clay into desired forms.
- Once shaped, create a small indentation at the top of each stone for essential oils.
- Transfer the stones carefully onto a baking sheet or tray and allow them to dry.
- Once dry, admire your work and enjoy the textures and shapes.
- Finish by adding a few drops of essential oil into each indentation.
Notes
Store aroma stones in a cool, dry place when not in use. Refresh the scent by adding essential oil as needed.
