Description

Create soothing aroma stones with air-dry clay and your favorite essential oils for a calming home fragrance.

Ingredients

  • Air-dry clay
  • Essential oils (such as lavender, eucalyptus, or citrus)
  • Water (to dampen the clay if needed)
  • Rolling pin
  • Cookie cutters (optional)
  • Baking sheet or tray
  • Small bowl

Instructions

  1. Begin by taking a small portion of the air-dry clay and knead it in your hands.
  2. If the clay feels too dry, add a few drops of water and continue kneading.
  3. Roll the clay into a smooth ball while breathing in your chosen essential oil.
  4. On a flat surface, flatten your clay ball with a rolling pin until it reaches about half an inch in thickness.
  5. Use cookie cutters to shape the clay into desired forms.
  6. Once shaped, create a small indentation at the top of each stone for essential oils.
  7. Transfer the stones carefully onto a baking sheet or tray and allow them to dry.
  8. Once dry, admire your work and enjoy the textures and shapes.
  9. Finish by adding a few drops of essential oil into each indentation.

Notes

Store aroma stones in a cool, dry place when not in use. Refresh the scent by adding essential oil as needed.
