Ingredients
- Crayons (broken pieces)
- Wax paper
- Iron (with adult supervision)
- Scissors
- Star-shaped cookie cutter or template
- Parchment paper
- A flat surface or pressing cloth
Instructions
- Remove wrappers from the crayons and break them into small pieces (about half-inch).
- On a sheet of wax paper, arrange the crayon pieces in a star shape using various colors.
- Cover with parchment paper and set the iron to low heat. Gently press the iron on the parchment for a few seconds until crayons melt.
- Allow the melted crayon to cool completely, then cut out star shapes using a cookie cutter.
- Use tape or string to hang suncatchers in a sunny window.
Notes
