- 1/2 cup corn starch
- 1/2 cup water
- Food coloring (various colors)

- Mixing bowls
- Silicone molds or cookie cutters
- Baking sheet
- Parchment paper
- Straws or twine for hanging
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine baking soda and corn starch. Gradually add water, stirring until you achieve a smooth consistency similar to pancake batter.
- Divide the mixture into separate bowls based on how many colors you want to use. Add food coloring to each bowl and mix thoroughly until you achieve your desired shades.
- If you’d like your ornaments to have a lovely aroma, add a few drops of essential oil to the mixture.
- Pour or spoon the colored mixtures into silicone molds or press them into cookie cutters placed on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Use a straw to make a small hole at the top for hanging.
- Preheat your oven to 175°F (80°C) and bake for 2-3 hours until they are completely dry, checking periodically to avoid over-baking.
- Once cool, gently remove the ornaments from molds or cutters. Thread twine or a small string through the holes for hanging.
