An easy, fun, and customizable craft for all ages that results in colorful and sparkly foam dough.
Ingredients
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup white glue (like school glue)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Food coloring (gel or liquid)
- Craft glitter (optional)
- Mixing bowl
- Stirring utensil
- Airtight container for storage
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of cornstarch and ½ cup of white glue. Stir until evenly mixed.
- Slowly pour in ½ cup of water and 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Continue stirring until the mixture begins to lose its grainy texture.
- Add a few drops of food coloring and your choice of craft glitter to the mixture. Stir thoroughly to combine until you achieve a vibrant, colorful dough.
- Once the mixture is well combined, remove it from the bowl and knead it gently with your hands for 1–2 minutes until smooth.
- Place the foam dough in an airtight container to keep it fresh. It can last for up to a week if stored correctly.

You can experiment with different colors and textures by adding sand or essential oils.
