Description

Transform ordinary plastic lids into vibrant suncatchers that illuminate your space.

Ingredients

  • Clear plastic lids (such as those from yogurt or take-out containers)
  • Transparent adhesive paper or contact paper
  • Non-toxic paints or markers
  • Scissors
  • Small embellishments (like sequins or beads, optional)
  • Paintbrushes
  • A pencil
  • A hole punch
  • Ribbon or string

Instructions

  1. Select your plastic lids. Gently wash them to remove any residue.
  2. Take the non-toxic paints or markers and begin drawing designs on the lids.
  3. Once your designs are ready, let them dry completely.
  4. Cut out pieces of transparent adhesive paper, a bit larger than the lids.
  5. If you wish, add small embellishments like sequins or beads around the edges.
  6. For hanging, use a hole punch near the top edge of the lid.
  7. Finally, loop a ribbon or string through the hole to create a hanger.
