Description

Transform ordinary coffee filters into beautiful flowers and engaging paper crafts while embracing creativity and mindfulness.

Ingredients

  • Coffee filters
  • Spray bottle with water
  • Food coloring or liquid watercolors
  • Scissors
  • Pipe cleaners or floral wire
  • Optional: Glitter or small embellishments
  • Optional: A shallow dish or tray

Instructions

  1. Begin by laying your coffee filters flat on a clean surface.
  2. Using the spray bottle, lightly mist your coffee filters with water.
  3. In a small dish, mix your chosen food coloring with water.
  4. Either dip the edges of the damp filters into the dye or use a brush to paint on color.
  5. Allow the filters to dry completely.
  6. Once dry, stack a few filters on top of one another.
  7. Pinch the center of the stacked filters together and twist.
  8. Secure the flower with a pipe cleaner or floral wire.
  9. Optionally, add embellishments by gluing on glitter, beads, or any small decorations.
  10. Finally, place your beautifully crafted coffee filter flowers in a vase or arrange them in a thoughtful display.

Notes

Store your flowers in a cool, dry place to prevent fading. Consider using them in seasonal decorations.
