Description

A calming DIY project to create beautiful flowers from simple coffee filters.

Ingredients

  • Coffee filters (white or brown)
  • Scissors
  • Watercolor paints or markers
  • Pipe cleaners or floral wire
  • Glue (or hot glue gun)
  • Optional: beads or buttons

Instructions

  1. Select your coffee filter and lay it flat on your surface.
  2. Gently fold the filter in half, then in half again.
  3. Cut the top edge of the folded filter in a rounded shape.
  4. Open the filter to reveal the flower shape.
  5. Use watercolors or markers to add color to the petals.
  6. Once the paint has dried, gather the base of the filter and twist it gently.
  7. Take your pipe cleaner or floral wire and thread it through the center.
  8. Repeat for additional flowers, varying colors and sizes.
  9. Finally, arrange your flowers in a vase.

Notes
