Description

A delightful DIY project to create vibrant marigold flowers using coffee filters, perfect for all ages.

Ingredients

  • Coffee filters (round ones work best)
  • Food coloring or liquid watercolors (optional)
  • Cups or small bowls for mixing colors
  • Scissors
  • Pipe cleaners or floral wire (for stems)
  • A clean workspace

Instructions

  1. Begin by laying out your coffee filters on the table.
  2. If you want to add color, mix a few drops of food coloring into a little water in separate cups.
  3. Dip the edges of the coffee filters into the colored water.
  4. Allow the filters to dry completely.
  5. Once dry, take the filters and gently scrunch them together in the center to form petals.
  6. Using a pipe cleaner or floral wire, wrap it around the base of the petals.
  7. Arrange your marigolds in a vase or display them.

Notes

Feel free to mix glitter with colors for a magical touch, and explore other filter types to create unique blooms.
