Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons clear glue (or white glue)
  • Food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine one cup of cornstarch with one cup of water.
  2. Stir the mixture gently with a wooden stick or spoon.
  3. Add two tablespoons of clear glue to the mixture.
  4. If you choose to add food coloring, do so now.
  5. Lightly dust your workspace with cornstarch to prevent sticking.
  6. Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out shapes from the mixture.
  7. Allow the hearts to dry for at least 24 hours.
  8. Once dried, gently peel them off the wax paper.
  9. Optional: Decorate the charms with markers or embellishments if desired.
