Create a charming cedar kissing ball to enhance your holiday decor with the fresh aroma of cedar.
Ingredients
- Fresh cedar branches (about 1-2 lbs)
- Styrofoam ball (8-10 inches in diameter)
- Floral wire
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
- Ribbon (to hang)
- Decorative elements (optional: pine cones, berries, etc.)

Instructions
- Gather fresh cedar branches and trim them into manageable lengths (about 5-6 inches each).
- Use floral wire to secure one end of a cedar branch to the styrofoam ball, wrapping the wire tightly around the ball.
- Continue adding branches, covering the ball completely and maintaining even spacing.
- If desired, glue on pine cones or berries for added embellishment.
- Cut a length of ribbon (about 12-15 inches), loop it, and secure it to the top of the ball with floral wire.
- Step back and admire your work, adjusting branches for a balanced look.
Notes
For longevity, mist lightly with water every few days. You can also use artificial materials for a longer-lasting decoration.
