Ingredients
- Cardboard tubes (toilet paper or paper towel tubes)
- Tissue paper in various colors
- Scissors
- Craft glue (clear-drying)
- Clear plastic sheet or wax paper
- Small brush
- Cutting mat or sturdy surface
- String or ribbon (optional)
Instructions
- Begin by taking your cardboard tubes and cut them into desired shapes.
- Prepare your tissue paper by cutting it into small squares or shapes.
- Using your small brush, apply glue to the inside of your cardboard shapes.
- Start placing the tissue paper pieces onto the glue, overlapping colors.
- Once all the pieces are in place, allow the shapes to fully dry.
- Carefully mount your dried mosaics onto the clear plastic sheet or wax paper.
- Cut the sheet neatly around your design and attach string or ribbon at the top for hanging.
- Now, find a sunny window where your masterpiece can be showcased.

To preserve your suncatcher, store it wrapped in tissue paper or between sheets of cardboard.
