Description

Transform old CDs into a beautiful handmade bouquet, embracing creativity and sustainability.

Ingredients

  • Old CDs or DVDs
  • A pair of scissors
  • Craft glue or hot glue gun
  • Wire or wooden skewers
  • Floral tape
  • Optional embellishments (e.g., ribbon, yarn, dried flowers)
  • A small vase or container

Instructions

  1. Begin by selecting a few CDs, feeling their cool surface as you consider which colors and patterns to showcase.
  2. Using your scissors, carefully cut each CD into shapes that please you.
  3. Once you’ve gathered a delightful assortment of shapes, take a moment to arrange them on the table.
  4. Grab your wire or wooden skewers. Attach each CD shape to a skewer using craft glue or hot glue.
  5. After the glue has secured the shapes, gently wrap the base of your “stem” with floral tape.
  6. Repeat the process, creating as many stems as your heart desires.
  7. Finally, place your assembled bouquet in a vase or container.

Notes

For added personal touch, consider writing small notes on the back of each CD shape. You can rejuvenate the bouquet seasonally by exchanging shapes or embellishments.
