Ingredients
- Borax (1/2 cup)
- Water (2 cups, warm)
- Clear jar or glass container
- String or thread
- Star-shaped cookie cutter or template

Instructions
- Begin by boiling about two cups of water.
- Once heated, carefully pour the water into a clear jar or glass container.
- Gradually add about 1/2 cup of Borax to the warm water.
- Stir the mixture gently with a spoon.
- If you wish, add a few drops of food coloring.
- Prepare your star shapes using a cookie cutter or template.
- Slowly pour the Borax solution into the jar.
- Place the jar in a cool, undisturbed area.
- Once the crystals have formed, gently remove the star shape and rinse under cool water.
- Let them dry completely before displaying or hanging them up.
