Description

Create beautiful blue crayon suncatchers that fill your space with calming colors and warmth.

Ingredients

  • Blue crayons (various shades for visual depth)
  • A suncatcher mold or cookie cutter (silicone works great)
  • A baking tray
  • Parchment paper (to prevent sticking)
  • Oven or a hair dryer for melting
  • Scissors (if you need to chop larger pieces)
  • Optional: ribbons or string for hanging

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Begin peeling your blue crayons.
  3. Break the crayons into small pieces, approximately half an inch long.
  4. Line your baking tray with parchment paper.
  5. Arrange the crayon pieces in your suncatcher mold or cookie cutter.
  6. Carefully place the tray in the preheated oven.
  7. Once melted, remove the tray from the oven.
  8. Allow the crayons to cool completely, which can take about 30 minutes.
  9. Gently release your suncatcher from the mold.
  10. Lastly, if desired, attach ribbons or strings for hanging.

Notes

Consider mixing in other colors or adding glitters to enhance your suncatchers.
