Ingredients
- Blue crayons (various shades)
- A box grater or sharpener
- Wax paper
- Baking tray
- Scissors
- String or ribbon (for hanging)
- Clear adhesive craft sheets (optional but recommended)
Instructions
- Prepare your workspace. Clear a flat surface and set out your materials.
- Grate the crayons using a box grater or sharpener to create shavings.
- Layer the shavings on a sheet of wax paper placed on your baking tray.
- Melt the crayons in an oven preheated to about 200°F (93°C).
- Cool the melted shapes completely before removing from the tray.
- Shape your suncatcher by cutting out raindrop shapes and making holes for hanging.
- Hang your creation using string or ribbon in your chosen spot.
Notes
Store in a cool, dry place to prevent fading and avoid stacking to maintain shape.
