Ingredients
- Bioplastic sheets
- A cutting tool (scissors or craft knife)
- Heat source (oven or hair dryer)
- Molds for shaping (silicone molds)
- Natural food coloring or plant dyes
- String or fishing line
- Optional: embellishments like glitter or dried flowers
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to the temperature recommended for the bioplastic sheets.
- Using your cutting tool, cut the bioplastic sheets into your desired shapes.
- If using molds, place your cut shapes into them.
- Lightly warm the shapes with your heat source.
- Once warmed, remove them from the heat and press into molds.
- Add natural food coloring or plant dyes to create your desired colors.
- Once cooled, carefully remove the suncatchers from the molds.
- Use a small tool to create a hole at the top of each suncatcher.
- Thread your string or fishing line through the hole and tie a knot.
- Take a moment to admire your handiwork.
