Ingredients
- Coffee filters (regular size)
- Scissors (safe for kids if applicable)
- Markers or watercolors (non-toxic, vibrant colors)
- A small bowl of water (if using watercolors)
- Pipe cleaners or floral wire (for stems)
- Optional: glitter or sequins (for added sparkle)
- Optional: a tray or container (to hold your materials)
Instructions
- Begin by laying out your coffee filters on a flat surface.
- Use markers or watercolors to add beautiful designs to the filters.
- Once decorated, stack two or three coffee filters together.
- Starting from the bottom, gently fold the filters upward like an accordion.
- After folding, pinch the center of your stack and twist it to secure the folds.
- Take a pipe cleaner and wrap it around the base of the flower tightly.
- To enhance your flower, gently pull apart the layers of the filters.
- If desired, sprinkle a little glitter or attach sequins.
- Set your flower aside and repeat the process until you have a beautiful bouquet.
Notes
