Description

Create stunning coffee filter flowers that bring a touch of nature’s beauty into your home. This simple and calming craft is perfect for kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

  • Coffee filters (white or natural brown)
  • Water-based markers or food coloring
  • Scissors
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Spray bottle or container with water
  • A drop of dish soap (optional)
  • Small vase or jar

Instructions

  1. Begin by taking a coffee filter and laying it flat on your workspace.
  2. If you wish to add color patterns, use water-based markers to draw around the edges of the filter.
  3. Fill your spray bottle with water and lightly mist the filter until it’s damp.
  4. Allow the filters to dry completely in a flat position.
  5. Once dry, fold the filter in half several times to create a fan-like shape.
  6. Use your scissors to round off the edges of the filter.
  7. Unfold the filter slowly, revealing your petal shape.
  8. Gather three to four petal layers together, and secure them with a pipe cleaner.
  9. Fluff and arrange the petals as you like.
  10. Place your blossoms in a small vase or jar.

Notes

Store flowers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Spritz lightly with water to refresh colors.
