Ingredients
- Coffee filters (white or natural brown)
- Water-based markers or food coloring
- Scissors
- Pipe cleaners
- Spray bottle or container with water
- A drop of dish soap (optional)
- Small vase or jar
Instructions
- Begin by taking a coffee filter and laying it flat on your workspace.
- If you wish to add color patterns, use water-based markers to draw around the edges of the filter.
- Fill your spray bottle with water and lightly mist the filter until it’s damp.
- Allow the filters to dry completely in a flat position.
- Once dry, fold the filter in half several times to create a fan-like shape.
- Use your scissors to round off the edges of the filter.
- Unfold the filter slowly, revealing your petal shape.
- Gather three to four petal layers together, and secure them with a pipe cleaner.
- Fluff and arrange the petals as you like.
- Place your blossoms in a small vase or jar.
Notes
Store flowers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Spritz lightly with water to refresh colors.
