Ingredients
- Beach sand
- Air-dry clay or salt dough
- Rolling pin
- A round or square cookie cutter
- Non-toxic paint (optional)

Instructions
- Roll out the air-dry clay or salt dough on a flat surface until about half an inch thick.
- Press your child’s hand into the clay to create a handprint, ensuring clear details.
- Use the cookie cutter to shape the clay around the handprint and trim excess clay.
- Sprinkle beach sand over the handprint, pressing gently to adhere.
- Allow the clay to dry completely according to package instructions (24-48 hours).
- Once dry, paint the handprint or surrounding area if desired and let it dry completely.
- Apply a clear sealant or varnish for extra durability.
