Ingredients

- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup salt
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- Food coloring (black, purple, and/or orange)
- Bat-shaped cookie cutters (optional)
- Storage container
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix 1 cup of flour, 1/4 cup of salt, and 1 tbsp of baking powder until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup of water and 1 tbsp of vegetable oil. Add a few drops of food coloring.
- Slowly pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients while stirring. Mix until it forms a sticky dough.
- Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for 2-3 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- If using, roll out the dough and use bat-shaped cookie cutters to create shapes. Allow to air dry for a few hours for a firmer texture.
Notes
Variations include adding scents or texture tweaks with rice or oats. Store the dough in an airtight container.
