Description

Create a delightful baking soda snow globe that’s perfect for any season or occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Clear container with a lid (like a mason jar)
  • Glitter or fake snow
  • Figurine (mini plastic or resin toys)
  • Optional: Food coloring
  • Craft glue or hot glue gun

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix baking soda with water until a paste forms. Optionally, add food coloring for a colorful base.
  2. Apply craft glue to the figurine’s base and press it into the center of the container’s lid, allowing it to dry completely.
  3. Fill the container with about 1 inch of glitter or fake snow, then pour in slightly less than half a cup of water.
  4. Screw the lid with the figurine onto the container, securing it with a ring of glue if desired.
  5. Turn the globe upside down and gently shake to see the snow fall around the figurine.

Notes

Customize with different colors, figurines, and themes for various occasions.
