Description

Create beautiful and vibrant Easter eggs with a calming touch using baking soda and food coloring.

Ingredients

  • White eggshells (real or faux)
  • Baking soda
  • Water
  • Food coloring (or natural dyes)
  • Small bowls or cups for mixing
  • Soft-bristled brushes
  • A tray or newspaper for drying
  • Optional: clear sealant for lasting color

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace with newspaper or a tray.
  2. Pour baking soda into a bowl.
  3. Add a small amount of water and mix.
  4. Stir until you create a thick paste.
  5. Mix food coloring with additional water in separate cups.
  6. Dip your brush into the baking soda paste, then into the colored water.
  7. Paint your egg gently with the mixture.
  8. Place your painted egg on the drying tray.
  9. Repeat the process with other eggs.
  10. Observe your beautifully created eggs.

Notes

To preserve eggs, store them in a padded box or soft cloth pouch. Consider a light sealant for real eggs after the paint dries.
