Description
Create vibrant and beautiful wax paper sun catchers that shimmer in the light, perfect for any space.
Ingredients
- Wax paper sheets
- Crayons (various colors)
- Grater or sharpener for crayons
- Iron
- Two pieces of plain paper or parchment paper
- Scissors
- Hole punch (optional)
- String or ribbon (optional for hanging)
Instructions
- Grate or sharpen your crayons into small shavings using a grater or crayon sharpener.
- Cut two pieces of wax paper to your desired size.
- Sprinkle the crayon shavings evenly over one of the wax paper sheets.
- Place the second piece of wax paper on top of the crayon-covered sheet.
- Place the stacked wax paper between two pieces of plain paper or parchment paper and gently iron over the top for 10–15 seconds until the crayons melt.
- Once cooled, carefully cut your sun catchers into shapes.
- Optionally, use a hole punch to create holes at the top and thread string or ribbon for hanging.
Notes
