  • Fresh leaves (various shapes and colors)
  • Crayons (in assorted colors)
  • An iron
  • A thin cloth or parchment paper
  • Scissors

Instructions

  1. Gather Your Materials: Collect all materials needed, preferably freshly fallen leaves.
  2. Prepare the Leaves: Rinse and dry the chosen leaves.
  3. Create Your Crayon Shavings: Use a grater or knife to create shavings from crayons.
  4. Layer with Wax Paper: Place one sheet of wax paper down, arrange leaves, and sprinkle crayon shavings.
  5. Cover and Melt: Place second sheet of wax paper on top, cover with cloth, and use a low heat iron to melt the shavings.
  6. Cut and Hang: Once cooled, cut out shapes and attach string or ribbon if desired.
