Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large watermelon
  • Assorted fruits (berries, mango, kiwi, etc.)
  • Edible glitter (optional)
  • Toothpicks or skewers
  • Cutting board
  • Sharp knife
  • Ice cream scoop (for melon balls)
  • Bowl for excess fruit

Instructions

  1. Slice off the bottom of the watermelon to create a flat base.
  2. Cut a cone shape from the top of the watermelon and scoop out the flesh inside.
  3. Fill the inner cavity with assorted fruits, layering for visual appeal.
  4. Insert toothpicks or skewers with fruit chunks on top.
  5. Place the Watermelon Volcano at the center of your gathering and enjoy!

Notes

Best to assemble within a few hours of serving to keep the watermelon fresh. Store leftover fruits in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
