Description

A delightful and colorful activity perfect for kids and adults, allowing you to create vibrant sidewalk art that washes away easily.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 1 cup water
  • Food coloring (various colors)
  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk or spoon
  • Ice cube trays or silicone molds
  • Old newspaper or tarp (for easy cleanup)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of cornstarch and 1 cup of water. Stir well with a whisk or spoon until smooth.
  2. Divide the mixture into small cups or containers and add food coloring, mixing until desired hues are achieved.
  3. Pour the colored mixtures into ice cube trays or silicone molds, filling each mold about 3/4 full.
  4. Leave the molds in a cool, dry area for 24 hours to harden, or place them in the refrigerator for quicker setting.
  5. Once dry, gently pop the chalk out of the molds and get outside to create your sidewalk masterpiece!
