Description
Create enchanting heart jar lanterns, perfect for Valentine’s Day decorations or as thoughtful gifts.
Ingredients
- Mason jars or clear glass jars
- Red, pink, or white tissue paper
- Mod Podge or craft glue
- Paintbrush
- LED tealights or candles
- Scissors
- Heart-shaped stencil (optional)
- Twine or ribbon for decoration
Instructions
- Prepare your workspace by laying down newspapers or a plastic sheet.
- Cut the tissue paper into heart shapes or squares in various sizes.
- Apply a thin layer of Mod Podge or craft glue on the outside of the jar using a paintbrush from bottom to top.
- Place your cut tissue paper shapes onto the glued surface and smooth out any wrinkles.
- Seal the tissue paper with another coat of glue and allow to dry completely (30-60 minutes).
- Place an LED tealight inside the jar. Use a heat-resistant jar for real candles.
- Tie twine or ribbon around the neck of the jar for decoration.
