Ingredients
- Mason jar (any size)
- LED fairy lights or a small LED tea light
- Clear or colored plastic fish
- Decorative sand or gravel
- Faux seaweed or aquatic decorations (optional)
- Clear glue or Mod Podge
- Paintbrush (if using glue)
- Water (if desired for effects)
- Scissors (if necessary)
Instructions
- Prepare the jar by ensuring it is clean and dry, removing any labels.
- Add a layer of clear or colored decorative sand or gravel at the bottom of the jar.
- Arrange plastic fish and any seaweed or aquatic decorations on top of the sand.
- Carefully place the LED fairy lights or tea light into the jar amongst the decorations.
- Optionally paint the inside of the jar and use glue to secure the decorations for a glossy finish.
- Fill the jar with water if using for effects and secure the lid tightly.
Notes
For a unique touch, use colored sand or essential oils in your jar. Ensure decorations are waterproof if adding water.
