Ingredients
- Clean, empty eggshells
- Turquoise paint or food coloring
- Epsom salt or sugar crystals
- Elmer’s glue or Mod Podge
- Small brush or sponge
- Baking sheet
- Parchment paper
- Sealer (optional for final finish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Clean and dry the eggshells thoroughly.
- Mix turquoise paint or food coloring with water.
- Paint the exterior of the eggshells with the paint mixture.
- Once dry, apply a thin layer of glue to the interior of each eggshell.
- Sprinkle Epsom salt or sugar crystals into the glued shells.
- Arrange the shells opening facing up on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes to ensure shells dry completely.
- Optionally, apply a sealer for a glossy finish once cool.
Notes
