A fun and easy craft project to create whimsical turkey decorations using cups, perfect for Thanksgiving and fall celebrations.
Ingredients
- Paper or Styrofoam cups (one per turkey)
- Brown construction paper
- Orange construction paper
- Red construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue stick or hot glue gun
- Googly eyes or small buttons
- Markers or crayons
- Optional: Feathers, glitter, or other decorative items
Instructions
- Start with a clean paper or Styrofoam cup and cover the exterior with brown construction paper, gluing it securely.
- Cut out a small yellow piece for the beak and a red piece for the wattle, and attach them to the cup using glue.
- Glue on googly eyes or buttons above the beak to create the turkey’s eyes.
- Cut several feather shapes from colorful construction paper or use actual feathers, and glue them to the back of the cup.
- Use markers or crayons to add additional details, and allow the glue to dry fully before displaying.
