Description

Create fun and fizzy bath bombs that melt, fizz, and release delightful scents for a magical bath experience.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 1/2 cup citric acid
  • 1/2 cup Epsom salt
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 23 teaspoons essential oils (your choice of scent)
  • Food coloring (various colors)
  • Molds (silicone molds or bath bomb molds)
  • Water in a spray bottle
  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together baking soda, citric acid, Epsom salt, and cornstarch until well blended.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine essential oils with a few drops of food coloring.
  3. Slowly drizzle the essential oil blend into the dry mixture while continuously whisking.
  4. Lightly mist the mixture using the spray bottle until it holds together without being too wet.
  5. Firmly pack the mixture into molds, pressing down to ensure they hold their shape.
  6. Allow the fizz rocks to dry for at least 24 hours.
  7. Carefully remove the fizz rocks from the molds once fully dried.

Notes

Experiment with various essential oils and food colors for unique creations. Store the fizz rocks in a cool, dry place for lasting freshness.
