Description
An engaging and eco-friendly craft project where kids can create their own Triceratops using recycled toilet paper rolls.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 empty toilet paper roll
- Colored construction paper (green, yellow, and any other colors you prefer)
- Scissors
- Glue stick or white glue
- Googly eyes (optional)
- Markers or crayons
- Craft knife (for adult use only, if needed)
Instructions
- Take your empty toilet paper roll and ensure it’s clean and dry. Hold it firmly, as this will be the base of your Triceratops.
- Cut out a circle from the colored construction paper for the head.
- Make two small horns by cutting triangles out of a piece of paper.
- Use glue to attach the circle for the head to one end of the toilet paper roll. Affix the triangles on top of the head to form the horns.
- Glue on googly eyes (if using) or draw eyes with a marker. Use markers or crayons to add a smile or other facial features.
- Cut shapes from colored paper to form the body design, such as spikes or patterns. Glue these pieces onto the toilet roll to personalize your dinosaur.
- Allow your Triceratops to dry completely and place it in a spot where it can be admired!
Notes
Customize with different colors and materials. Supervision is recommended for young children using scissors.
