Description

Create a beautiful pastel crystal garden using halved eggshells, colorful solutions, and a touch of creativity. Perfect for all ages!

Ingredients

  • Clean eggshells (halved)
  • White glue (PVA or school glue)
  • Food coloring or liquid watercolor
  • Table salt or sugar
  • Warm water
  • Small bowl for mixing
  • Toothpicks or small brushes (for applying glue)
  • Optional: glitter, decorative rocks, or small plants for additional embellishment

Instructions

  1. Prepare the eggshells by rinsing and drying them completely.
  2. Mix 1 cup of warm water with 4 tablespoons of table salt (or sugar) until fully dissolved. Add food coloring for hue.
  3. Apply white glue to the inside of the eggshells evenly.
  4. Sprinkle a small amount of the salt solution into each eggshell, making sure it’s not overflowing.
  5. Let them sit in a safe spot for 12–24 hours, depending on crystal size desired.
  6. Observe and enjoy your pastel crystal gardens once the waiting period is over.

Notes

Experiment with different colors and materials for unique results. Ensure proper proportions for crystal growth.
