Ingredients
- Clean eggshells (halved)
- White glue (PVA or school glue)
- Food coloring or liquid watercolor
- Table salt or sugar
- Warm water
- Small bowl for mixing
- Toothpicks or small brushes (for applying glue)
- Optional: glitter, decorative rocks, or small plants for additional embellishment
Instructions
- Prepare the eggshells by rinsing and drying them completely.
- Mix 1 cup of warm water with 4 tablespoons of table salt (or sugar) until fully dissolved. Add food coloring for hue.
- Apply white glue to the inside of the eggshells evenly.
- Sprinkle a small amount of the salt solution into each eggshell, making sure it’s not overflowing.
- Let them sit in a safe spot for 12–24 hours, depending on crystal size desired.
- Observe and enjoy your pastel crystal gardens once the waiting period is over.
