Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup of white school glue
- 1 cup of warm water
- 2 tablespoons of borax
- Food coloring (various colors)
- 1 mixing bowl
- 1 separate cup for mixing water and borax
- Rubber gloves (optional)
- Plastic surface cover (to protect your workspace)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of white school glue with 1 cup of warm water. Stir well until the glue is completely dissolved.
- Add a few drops of food coloring to the glue mixture for desired color intensity. Mix thoroughly; feel free to create swirls by not mixing too much.
- In another cup, dissolve 2 tablespoons of borax in 1 cup of warm water. Stir until the borax is fully dissolved.
- Slowly pour the borax solution into the glue and water mixture. Stir gently; you’ll notice the mixture starting to clump together.
- Once mixed, use your hands (with rubber gloves if desired) to knead the mixture for 2-3 minutes, forming it into a smooth ball.
- Allow the balls to rest for a few minutes to firm up. Enjoy your new bouncy balls!
Notes
Experiment with different combinations of food coloring for unique hues. Consider adding glitter for extra sparkle or scented oil for fun aromas.
