Description

A fun and colorful recipe that brings back childhood memories, perfect for parties and family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup colorful sprinkles (or food-safe glow-in-the-dark powder)
  • Optional: 1/4 cup cocoa powder for chocolate flavor

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cocoa powder (if using), and salt.
  2. Pour in melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir until well blended.
  3. Gently fold in the sprinkles (or glow powder) into the batter, mindful not to over-mix.
  4. Scoop out small amounts of batter and roll into balls about one inch in diameter.
  5. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  6. Place the balls on the baking sheet, spacing them apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until slightly puffed and golden around the edges.
  7. Allow to cool on a wire rack for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Try different types of sprinkles or gel food coloring for unique effects. Substitute all-purpose flour with a gluten-free blend if desired.
