- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup colorful sprinkles (or food-safe glow-in-the-dark powder)
- Optional: 1/4 cup cocoa powder for chocolate flavor
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cocoa powder (if using), and salt.
- Pour in melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir until well blended.
- Gently fold in the sprinkles (or glow powder) into the batter, mindful not to over-mix.
- Scoop out small amounts of batter and roll into balls about one inch in diameter.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the balls on the baking sheet, spacing them apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until slightly puffed and golden around the edges.
- Allow to cool on a wire rack for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Try different types of sprinkles or gel food coloring for unique effects. Substitute all-purpose flour with a gluten-free blend if desired.
