Description

Create your own glowing bounce ball with an exciting DIY project that combines creativity and sensory play.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup of white school glue
  • 1 cup of liquid starch
  • Food coloring (multiple colors)
  • 1 cup of warm water
  • Optional: Glow-in-the-dark powder
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon for mixing
  • Plastic gloves

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of white school glue with 1 cup of warm water and stir until smooth.
  2. Add several drops of food coloring to the glue mixture and mix gently to create your desired colors.
  3. Gradually add the liquid starch to the colored mixture while mixing continuously until a ball begins to form.
  4. Use your gloved hands to knead the mixture gently until it’s semi-solid.
  5. If desired, add glow-in-the-dark powder and knead it in well.
  6. Roll the mixture into a compact ball shape with your hands.
  7. Allow the ball to sit for a few minutes to firm up, then test its bounce!

Notes

For variations, try mixing different colors for a marbled effect or adding essential oils for scent. If you can’t find liquid starch, substitute with cornstarch and water.
