Description

Create a vibrant sunflower suncatcher to add color and joy to your home.

Ingredients

  • Clear plastic or transparency sheets
  • Black markers or Sharpie
  • Yellow and brown tissue paper
  • Scissors
  • Craft glue or mod podge
  • Self-adhesive hooks or suction cups for hanging
  • Optional: glitter for added sparkle

Instructions

  1. Cut a large circle out of the plastic sheet to create the base for your sunflower suncatcher.
  2. Using the black marker, draw a large sunflower design on the plastic, including petals and a center.
  3. Tear yellow tissue paper into petal-sized pieces and brown tissue paper for the center.
  4. Apply craft glue to the sunflower petals and press the yellow tissue paper pieces onto them.
  5. Glue down the brown tissue paper pieces in the middle of the flower.
  6. Let the glue dry completely to ensure your artistry holds together.
  7. Attach self-adhesive hooks or suction cups to the top of your suncatcher for easy hanging.

Notes

Experiment with different colors of tissue paper or paint to personalize your suncatcher. You can also create seasonal themes with different flower designs.
