Description

Engage in a fun crafting activity by making colorful suncatchers that brighten up your space and bring a burst of color to your home.

Ingredients

  • Transparent contact paper
  • Colored tissue paper (various colors)
  • Scissors
  • A pencil
  • A marker (optional)
  • A window (for hanging the suncatcher)
  • Optional: string or ribbon for hanging

Instructions

  1. Cut a piece of contact paper to your desired size and peel off one side to expose the sticky surface.
  2. Use a pencil or marker to draw a simple design on the non-sticky side for guidance.
  3. Tear or cut the colored tissue paper into smaller pieces and begin placing them onto the sticky side of the contact paper, overlapping for a mosaic effect.
  4. Cut another piece of contact paper to the same size and place it sticky side down over the colored tissue to seal it.
  5. Trim any excess contact paper around the edges to create a clean finish.
  6. Hang your suncatcher using string or ribbon on a window to catch the sunlight.

Notes

Experiment with different shapes, colors, and even add natural elements for a unique touch. Keep the suncatchers indoors as prolonged outdoor use can fade them.
