Description
Engage in a fun crafting activity by making colorful suncatchers that brighten up your space and bring a burst of color to your home.
Ingredients
- Transparent contact paper
- Colored tissue paper (various colors)
- Scissors
- A pencil
- A marker (optional)
- A window (for hanging the suncatcher)
- Optional: string or ribbon for hanging
Instructions
- Cut a piece of contact paper to your desired size and peel off one side to expose the sticky surface.
- Use a pencil or marker to draw a simple design on the non-sticky side for guidance.
- Tear or cut the colored tissue paper into smaller pieces and begin placing them onto the sticky side of the contact paper, overlapping for a mosaic effect.
- Cut another piece of contact paper to the same size and place it sticky side down over the colored tissue to seal it.
- Trim any excess contact paper around the edges to create a clean finish.
- Hang your suncatcher using string or ribbon on a window to catch the sunlight.
Notes
Experiment with different shapes, colors, and even add natural elements for a unique touch. Keep the suncatchers indoors as prolonged outdoor use can fade them.
