Description

Create beautiful suncatchers that fill your home with vibrant colors and cheer. Perfect for crafters of all ages!

Ingredients

  • Clear contact paper or transparent plastic sheets
  • Colored tissue paper or cellophane
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Marker (optional)
  • String or ribbon (for hanging)
  • Optional: Glitter, beads, or other embellishments

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Design: Decide on a shape for your suncatcher and lightly outline it on paper.
  2. Cut Your Base: Cut two pieces of contact paper larger than the design outline and peel one side sticky-side up.
  3. Arrange the Colors: Cut tissue paper or cellophane into shapes and place them on the sticky side of the contact paper.
  4. Seal the Suncatcher: Peel the second contact paper and place it sticky-side down to seal the colors inside.
  5. Trim and Hang: Cut around the design, punch a hole at the top, and thread a string or ribbon for hanging.

Notes

Use seasonal colors for festive suncatchers and consider adding embellishments like glitter for extra flair.
