Description

A delightful and easy-to-make puffy paint perfect for summer crafts, offering a fun and textured artistic experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • Food coloring (various colors)
  • Mixing bowls
  • Whisk or spoon
  • Squeeze bottles or plastic bags (for application)
  • Paper or fabric for painting

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of salt, and 1 tablespoon of baking powder. Gradually add 1 cup of water, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  2. Divide the mixture into smaller bowls, add food coloring to each bowl, and mix until you achieve your desired hues.
  3. Pour the colored mixtures into squeeze bottles or plastic bags, cutting a small tip off one corner if using bags.
  4. Use the puffy paint on your chosen surface—squeeze with varying pressure to create different textures.
  5. Allow your creations to dry for 24 hours or until completely set and puffy!

Notes

For a shimmering effect, add glitter. Adjust water for different textures and experiment with colors.
