Description

A delightful summer activity combining creativity and sensory play, perfect for kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • Food coloring (various colors)
  • Mixing bowls
  • Whisk or spoon
  • Squeeze bottles or plastic bags (with the corner cut off for piping)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of salt, and 1 tablespoon of baking powder. Slowly stir in 1 cup of water until the mixture is smooth.
  2. Divide the mixture into separate bowls and add food coloring to each bowl, stirring until well blended.
  3. Pour the colored mixtures into squeeze bottles or plastic bags, cutting a small section of the corner to pipe the paint.
  4. Squeeze the paint onto cardboard, canvas, or paper in desired shapes and designs.
  5. Allow your painting to dry completely in a well-ventilated area (this may take several hours or overnight).

Notes

For a sparkly effect, stir in glitter before applying the paint. Experiment with different basing materials for unique results.
