A fun and engaging craft that uses simple ingredients to create vibrant paintings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • Food coloring (various colors)
  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk or spoon
  • Paintbrushes (various sizes)
  • Thick paper or watercolor paper
  • Plastic cups or containers for mixing

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water. Stir well using a whisk or spoon until the sugar dissolves completely.
  2. Divide the sugar water into plastic cups. Add a few drops of food coloring to each cup and stir well.
  3. Place your thick paper or watercolor paper on a flat surface. Set out your colored sugar water and paintbrushes.
  4. Dip the brush into the sugar water mixture and start applying it to the paper, layering colors and experimenting with techniques.
  5. Once finished, let your artwork dry completely.

Notes

Customize colors by blending food colors, and try using different tools for unique textures. Cleanup is easy with soap and water.
