Ingredients

  • Vinegar
  • Food coloring (various colors)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the area by choosing a workspace that’s easy to clean and laying down newspaper or a plastic cover.
  2. Create sugar bases by measuring and spreading 1 cup of white sugar evenly on the baking tray.
  3. Add color by scooping food coloring into small cups and using a dropper to add it to the sugar, mixing to create colorful clumps.
  4. Initiate the reaction by pouring a small amount of vinegar over the colorful sugar and observing the bubbling and fizzing effect.
  5. Cleanup by disposing of the mixture responsibly and wiping down the workspace.
