Ingredients

- 2 cups of granulated sugar

Instructions
- Prepare Your Workspace: Choose a clean, flat surface and lay down wax paper or foil to protect surfaces from spills.
- Create Your Shape: Twist pipe cleaners into desired shapes (geodes, crystals, etc.) and dip them in water, shaking off excess moisture.
- Make the Sugar Solution: In a small pot, heat 1 cup of water until nearly boiling. Gradually add 2 cups of granulated sugar, stirring continuously until dissolved completely.
- Add Glue and Color: Mix in 1/2 cup of school glue until well combined and add food coloring if desired.
- Dip and Dry: Dip your prepared pipe cleaner shapes in the sugar-glue solution, ensuring they are well coated, and place on wax paper or foil to dry for at least 24 hours.
- Observe the Crystallization: After drying, enjoy the beautiful sugar crystals formed around your shapes!
